Fibaro Home Automation equipment is a revolutionary system which makes home automation simple, affordable, powerful and extremely flexible.

The Fibaro devices provide a stream of information to monitor such things as temperature, power consumption and device history. This makes it a valuable tool for identifying power hungry appliances and helping you reduce your power bills through efficiency.
Fibaro recognises the importance of keeping your home and data safe. All messages and information is encrypted using the TLS protocol and bcrypt to provide the highest level of security. The system also uses WAF (Web Application Firewall) and anti-DDoS systems to ensure potential intruders cannot gain access to your system or data.
Fibaro App
The Fibaro app for smartphones and tablets provides a single interface to monitor and control your home, whether you are at home, or on the other side of the world.
The app provides an intuitive way of controlling all the devices within your system, as well as being able to review other power usage, temperature and status information.
Wireless Switches
Fibaro provides a range of wireless switches which get installed with the existing wiring, to add automation to existing equipment without the need for any renovation work.
The range of available switches include:
- Single or double switch.
- Light dimmer.
- RGBW controller (to bring multi-coloured lighting into your home).
- Roller shutter (for motorised roller blinds, venetian blinds, awnings and gates).
Any number of these wireless switches can be added to bring automation and control to objects in your home.
Door/Window Sensor
The sensor shows whether a door or window is open or closed. Alerts can also be setup to notify your phone when a door or window is opened, so you will be immediately made aware of any unexpected entry into your home.
The sensors have been beautifully designed to given minimal visual impact. A range of colours are available so they blend in with your doors and windows.
Motion/Light/Temperature Sensor
The Fibaro motion sensor packs a lot of functionality into a small unit. It not only detects movement, but also monitors the light level and temperature. This information can be used by the Fibaro system to trigger notifications and other automation tasks on other Fibaro devices. For example:
- Act as a home security system, detecting unexpected movement in the home.
- Automatically switch on the lights when someone walks into a room or hallway.
- Automatically switch off the lights when no-one is in the room.
- Turn the heating on or off when a room gets too cold or hot.
- Close blinds and curtains when it gets dark outside.
These Fibaro sensors provide a lot of information which can be used to create many automation options.
Flood Sensor
Some of the worst damage to a home is caused by water leaks. Small leaks can go on for weeks or months without the home owner being aware and by then the damage the water has caused is extensive. Large leaks or overrunning taps cause damage quickly and need to be stopped as quickly as possible.
The Fibaro flood sensor provides an immediate solution to these problems. A flood sensor is placed in an area such as in a bathroom or laundry and it constantly monitors for the presence of water. As soon as water is detected it raises an alarm to alert the home owner to the problem so it can be stopped and fixed.
Catching a water leak early can avoid thousands of dollars of damage and a lot of stress and hassle.
